Proud First Generation Farmers
Gail and Mike Cooley
Patient Wait is a long-time dream of a Jersey Girl exiled in South Carolina.
Along with her understanding husband/farm hand; they are building a sustainable farm and producing products that are good for you, and good for the environment.
We appreciate all our fans...but we remain fiercely local when it comes to our products. Holiday turkeys available for on-farm pick up as well as our pasture-raised livestock.
We do not have an "on-line farm store". Instead we prefer our customers getting to know us and old-fashioned human contact. Imagine that?!
Thank you to all our customers. Interested in serving a heritage turkey at your next traditional holiday get-together? Our Holiday Turkeys are available by pre-order only. Deposits are taken beginning in June. $20 will reserve your whole bird.
When taste matters...heirloom veggies grown naturally can not be beat. Heirloom tomatoes, peppers (sweet and hot), summer squash, and much more available for purchase -- also ask about local produce stands that carry our vegetables, eggs and other farm products.
Patient Wait raises hardy heritage breeds: Narragansett Turkey, Nigerian Dwarf and Mini Mancha Goats, chicken and waterfowl. Turkey Poults available for $9 each (10 or under) or discounted for orders of 11+. Goat kids, Chicks and Goslings available during breeding season. Give us a call for availability.

A: Yes! We love them. Please call for available dates.
Our passions surround community, families and connecting people to the land. We are breaking ground on some exciting projects and soon will host campers.
